Al-Medina
of Casablanca

This sequence moves through Casablanca, from the compressed passages of the medina to the open edge of the Atlantic. Market stalls, painted walls, taxis, workers, families and moments of pause are photographed not as symbols of the city, but as details encountered while passing through it.

The images shift between crowd and solitude, enclosure and horizon, saturated colour and near-silhouette. Together they form an incomplete portrait of Casablanca: not a map of the city, but a memory assembled from surfaces, gestures and changing distances.
